Okay, after the holidays and a month-long bout with pneumonia, I’m back. Wouldn’t recommend it. I’m going to have to modify my original goals for realism, ECCC just isn’t happening after losing a month of work time.

I’ve started the smoothing process on parts of the armor and helmet, using primarily Bondo Plastic Metal due to availability and ease of use. Workable after just a few hours.

Here’s the back of the helmet with the first application of plastic metal.

I’m not done working for today, but figured I’d put something up now that work is back on.
