Greetings spartans !
I am begining a new project this time I wanted to make a Halo armor spartan costume cause in 2016 in Montreal I saw Master chief ''Frank Roy'' costume and I was ''OMG i wanna make this''... hehe so here is my start with his Torso, oh yes ! I will make it entirely in foam. I cannot do so much at the moment because I really need Barge glue or glue gun sticks which i do not have. Bare with me I will keep you guys updated.

Thanks FalseShepherd! I continued my Spartan today because it is my work and got plenty of time. I made the torso base skeleton and now i need to fill it with layers for the chest and compartments with different size of foam sheets. I tried it on me and it fits me pretty thigh but it fits me ... I have to order also the master chief helmet (pre made) and will paint it a different color than green... I want a bit my suit to be like this one ( and photos of my torso base):

That's looking great so far! The shape is getting there and progress is great! If you dont mind constructive criticism, your knife may need to be sharpened again as some of your edges are getting a little bit jagged. Also, you might be trying to glue the foam together a minute or two too early. If you let it dry for just a little bit longer, your seams will be cleaner and hopefully it wount split open as much in those spots. Otherwise, great start!

Very true... oh no i dont want to do anything crazy I just want to work with it on my props and costumes . I just have to be careful cause my cat is always coming to ask me for food whenever i dont know it ... and god knows he got these ways of coming towards me .... :D he loves foam actually he scraps everything i have of foam with his claws but that's ok... :D

Great start! I cant wait to see more of your progress. The most rewarding part to me is seeing how each piece i make gets better and i learn more and more. Excited to see what you come up with!

Little bad news... the local store had a OUT OF STOCK on the helmets... oh well...I will maybe buy it on Etsy or just make it...
