ok the groove lines are only drawn on for now and the faceplate has not been removed(easier to mold)but after i get a cast i can go a little further

thx everyone for the files(Dung Beetle(MrOreo for the unfold)and everyone else for the inspiration!

Looks good so far! update after you cast and paint, all these post make me want to finish mine too. :)

Looks pretty good, but the ear piece looks abnormally large for some reason really sticks out. Did you print them with the helmet scale?

Woah, looks awesome!

2 questions, if you don't mind; how long did it take you to do that much of the helmet? And how did you get your back piece to hinge like that?

Thanks everyone

the ears yes they are a little larger than normal but the plan was after molding (smoothcast is a little easier to sand and work with)when i cut the ears out again i would bevel them to the proper size and shape

its took me about a month on and off to get there but i only worked on it a few days a week ,the back piece is a combination of washers magnets and the hinge is actually industrial duct tape lol was gonna put real hinge in it but because of the shape the hinge would have to be on the outside and i didint plane for that before hand

scaling:i used the default scale that MrOreo unfolded it at 26.? somethin

ill post a couple pics of the hinge setup when i get them uploaded
