My ODST armor finished!

Hi everyone!
So, I began my odst armor since 2 weeks. I already print the helmet, chest plate, torso, M6s, grenade and the right arm. And yesterday, I finished the grenade :D!
Here's the result:

I have 2 kind of gauntelets: one is for the winter, the other is for spring, summer and autumn ^^.
The last (my favourite :) ):

What do you think? The grenade isn't too big?
The next photos will come very soon, because I must finish my armor before September for the french E3: "le salon du jeu vidéo 2010" ^^...

Looks like a good start to me. The grenades are pretty huge ingame, really. (They seem to be built for those large Spartan hands.) So yours looks just about right. Keep it up!

Looking nice. Pep looks good, and I hope the resin goes well. The gauntlet looks a little big though.

And on the note of the grenade scale, the games are raelly wacky with scale. If anyone has ever bothered checking the size of the elites, they are actually MASSIVE in real life, but you can't tell in game.

Lookin' good! Your pep work seems spot on so far. Personally, I'd size down the arm piece a little, or size up the shoulder. They just seem a little bit out of proportion to each other

Thanks guys :D

You are right, it's a very little big but I didn't find the same gauntlets at my size ^^.

It's okay ;)!

Yes, you are right too ^^. I saw this when I stuck yesterday. But, I printed the arms in the same time with the same size -_-'; idem for the second shoulder (I'm a noob...)

Thanks again for your comments!
Next: helmet

Looks like you got decent coverage on everything, looks good! I do have one question for you though, what was the black substance on the inside of each piece?

Thanks guys :D

It's a resin, which is similar at adam's in this video -> http://www.youtube.com/user/gametavern?blend=2&ob=1#p/u/26/fH3OsGqltL4

When the resin is dry, it is as strong as plastic. I don't know the english name, but in France, this resin is "la résine de polyuréthane" ^^
It's a very good material, and I can put the bondo just after the resin (no need fiberglass)

So, here's my helmet in WIP

Very cool, I might have to check that out seeing as I'm just getting to the fiberglassing stage! Props on the helmet pep too, nice folds so far :) I'm really looking forward to seeing this finished.
