Hola everyone! My name is Tayl0r, Even though I introduced myself in the "new members" thread i'd like to be a bit more personal on here, I am 15 and currently working on building the HAL0 3 Rec0n armor and the HAL0 3 0DST Rec0n armor as in the concept drawing here:

I just want to let everyone know I suffer from Tourettes Syndrome so when I make a video, don't be alarmed if you see me jerk my head! Thank you all and Adios!

Just a quick edit, I am NOT doing this so bungie can give me REC0N, BELAKOR already has it I know, I just think the armor looks cool to me and since its also worn by my favorite Halo characters; the 0DST's

Cool man! And sorry for typing in ''0''s my teacher is streesing me to type with BOTH hands but I am more accustomed to the "hunt and peck" method so its a bit hard for me to control my fingers.

I used to be the same way, but typing with both hands is much faster and more efficient. You also don't have to stare at the keyboard while typing.

Looks like you're almost ready to glue, though. I wouldn't recommend using hot glue for the helmet, though, since it forms a layer that almost guarantees warping. Using Elmer's glue works wonders. Just use a toothpick, dip it barely into the bottle so you have a small bubble of glue on the tip, and spread it thinly on the tab so you don't spend more than about 10 seconds applying pressure.

Good luck, though. Hopefully, you can finally has Recon!

You can also use a coffee stirrer to apply the glue, it's thicker than a toothpick and you can reuse it, I used the same stirrer for almost 2 years. Good Luck on the project!

I know its freaky isn't it? My cardstock must have gotten my blood,sweat and tears and formed a clone of me!

Anyway, I have to stop cutting for today, my X-acto knife wore down and became dull so it won't cut right at all So i'll have to buy a new one then. Also, thank you to: Sean, Mc hammer, Th3 fett man, ImaGonnaGetYou, Leekegan, Bilsy and TheSpartanMjolnir for all your funny and positive comments it keeps me enirgized and keeps me motivated! As a matter of fact yes! And hey, not a problem you all deserved it! I also have a few other things to show as well! Like I said I'm VERY slow because first, I want to do my BEST on my first helmet! And second, my Freshman year is two weeks away from ending until I emerge as a new Sophmore! So you can guess that school has been a major point in my life. It's been a while hasn't it? Well after finishing my freshman year of school, 6-flags, celebrating July 4th, getting bloodwork, being put on new medicine, welcoming another baby into our family and a whole lot of other issues. I finally got to finish cutting all my peices. It was the most painful thing I had to do, Blood, sweat, and tears were put into all of this. And at last I can take a breath of air!
