Nasty Fumes

I have not done my helm yet but i think im stuck here with a problem. My resin smells like hel. And even when its completly dry. And i was thinking that if I would finish my helmet. I wouldn't even dare to put my head in it because of the fumes. Does anbody know how to ged rid of the fumes.

Leave it outside or in a well-ventilated place for a few days

Additionally sprinkling baby powder will help it out as well but yeah, it takes anywhere from a few days to a week in a well ventilated area to get rid of the smell. Definitely don't keep huffing it.

Tanks guys. I already was afraid that I had to mount a respirator in my helmet.

always where some kind of respirator when using resin! and in a very well ventilated area. My first piece had some nasty smells a few days after i completed the resining. but i left it outside and now it's fume free! it can take a while sometimes. especially since we are headed into winter now.

Yes i hate winter. Because now i can only pep stuff and not resin it because its always raining in the Netherlands
