Need help deciding how to paint my odst armor

Hey 405th,

I'm planning on painting my odst armor this weekend, and can't decide how i should paint it. Does anyone have any ideas to share? Or color(s) to paint it?

Right now I've been considering having a steel base color and using black or a charcoal for tiger stripping the armor.

What do you guys think? Please feel free to give me ideas or suggestions

There have been many variants on this site, I have seen people paint their ODST solid black, or a rather light gray, and everything in between. For me personally, my ODST is going to be a dark gray, metallic, but not shiny, and slightly textured. It is called Engine Enamel and I got it my local Advanced Auto Parts store. Then I will heavily dry-brush it silver to give it a real metal look to it!
