Ok, so, I'm new here, and I found this place while searching for a replica Spartan Laser.

The Splaser is by far my favourite weapon in Halo 3, and I would be willing to pay for one to be made.

I don't really know what these things are usually made out of, fibreglass or resin I presume.

So, if anyone can help me out, it will be much appreciated.

My advise is to look over some stickies and threads that may help you on your project. I'm not sure if anyone has ever finished a Spartan Laser. I pepakura for the Splaser can be found in the Halo Costume Wiki:

So far as I know, a laser hasn't been finished in pep. You would be better off to build your own instead of trying to commission someone. The cost in materials and time for someone to build it could be offset greatly by doing it yourself. It is part of my plans but is down there on the list. I say give it a shot on your own and good luck. Welcome to the 405th!
