My Lady!

This is my first attempt at making a helmet, any tips are greatly appreciated!
Stay Tuned!

Tip for bondo, do thin layers of bondo and sand each one down. You will have better results. Also, once the bondo starts to kick, stop working it and don't apply it. It will sack you the Little pits and lots of work. Gold grade bondo is also much smoother, easier to work and easier to sand. I love it.

Awesome, thanks for the tips. I actually picked up the gold grade bondo after your recommendation in your Reach LT WIP. You're a big inspiration. Im sure all the noobs love your tips. I know I do :p

Just from the pics you posted the armor is amazingly beautiful and detailed, just needs some nice undersuit! What isnt so epic is what appears to be the porn playing on the tv in the background.

Enjoying the work so far, good job and keep it up!

Got a quick question for you... where exactly did you get the foam? Looks like small home crafting foam by crayola or some other small brand like that...

I actually used 2 different kinds, but they're both EVA foam mats. ones from walmart, which you can find in the fitness section and the colored ones are from home depot in the flooring section. I prefer the walmart ones because theyre a bit thicker and a little cheaper. theyre about $20 for 6 mats where the ones from home depot are about $16 for 4 mats.
Heres the walmart ones:
