I finished this for halloween 08'. This was my first time ever doing any extreme costume building, plus I ran out of time and had to skip doing any detailing. I'm looking for constructive criticism...I think I can handle it :p hehe

The boots were not done when I took the picture.

What were you thinking..lol. Joking. Actaually a I think it looks good. There doesn't have ot be a next time. You can bondo that one up a little at a time and work the detail a lil more and then repaint it. I think you can have that suit to it's max potential.

Looks good for a first armor (I shouldnt say something, havent been finished on my yet :p) Just some pices are looking like they are too big! I dont know, but i just think so! Great build!

Hey this looks great, forearms are a little big, but I haven't even finished my first... Not even close. Plus like Ithica said, you can work on this one more with bondo.

Well, geez... for a "rush" job, it still came out looking pretty damn good! :D

I mean, hell... I officially started my Mk VI armour almost two years ago, and all I've got to show for it is a nearly-finished helmet, lol. So, you've got me beat.

Critique-wise, the most notable areas that would need revisions for your second suit are the forearms and the biceps (upper arms). The forearms are definately too large, and the biceps just a bit.

All in all though, job well done dude

P.S.: I love your choice of colour scheme, btw.

EDIT: Oh yeah... and as Adam said below, use the HD Pep files for your second build. There's a lot more detail built into those, so it'll save you some time adding them in yourself. Believe me, I know what I'm talking about (accurized a low-detail Pep helmet), lol.

forearms are too big... thighs and shoulders are slightly too big.

Next time, go for the high def pep. Otherwise, that looks great!!!!

that looks great. At first I was expecting something extremely sloppy but it looks really good to me. I haven't even completely finished my helmet yet, so congratulations!

not bad at all for a first attempt that was rushed haha. i would have to agree with everyone, the forearms are too big. though i haven't even started my armour yet lol so i don't have very much weight behind my advice lol

Wow, thanks for all the great comments and critiques, I really appreciate it! :D

I think I'm going to shelf this armor and most likely start over with the high def files after I am done my current project (Ironman).

Thanks again everyone, the 405th community rocks!

Looks good for a first set. The armor looks like all the paint has been rubbed off, and gives a metal look to it. Very Nice.
