Undercoating done on most parts I didn't take pictures of everything unfortunately. You can see on the boot pieces that are now one piece.



The final finish isn't perfect but I don't have long to get it ready now. I also plan to have a lot of battle damage so the finish has not got to be perfect.



Dug out a Picture of the assault rifle before I painted it as well.



Lots of bits undercoated it gets exciting now.



Thighs as well, thinking these may be to big everyone seems to have quite small thigh pieces.



The green stuff is next.

I Painted the green with Vauxhall Leaf Green (Recommended by KerryCosplay)

5.5 cans did the whole suit, nice good coats of green.









I then masked up and sprayed the black bits with gloss black.

So I got this far in the last few days, the thighs are much to big but its manageable for now. I am taking him out for a spin on the weekend for a promotional event for Wyntercon in Eastbourne UK.

I have dry brushing and weathering to do and a bit of trimming so I can actually take a step in it. Helmet still needs the GoPro fitting and the visor is going to have a little bit of hot glue on it to hold until I can finish the double visor.

So my Cheif is done enough to go out into the world.




Work to be done includes,

Rebuild thighs and biceps scaled down as they are to large.
Bluetooth speaker off my phone that will play Halo Music with Cortanas voice.
GoPro mount in the helmet to fit better.
Double visor for the helmet.

I took the chief out for his first spin today, so many people wanted photos one kid said "this is the best day of my life"
