Noobs first build ever, Halo 3 Mk. VI, With multiple weapon builds! [Wip] [Pic Heavy]

So I've always wanted a Master Chief suit, and decided to make my dream into a reality. First time ever pepping, started from the middle and am currently on the chest piece, cutting out the pieces. I plan to fiberglass them, not rondo, then of course bondo and paint, and I'm still unsure of whether or not I want to do different designs of it, but I'll put that off until bondo. So here's the progress so far.

Quick Update!

Halfway done building the chest. I'm going away for the better part of this weekend, and won't be able to finish it by sunday. My heater is coming tomorrow, and I have all my resin and bond and cloth.

Just make sure you dont rush yourself. I rushed my first suit and even though i liked it, i was not fully satisfied with it. Take your time and be patient

I'll try to slap a coat of resin on my pieces this week. If not, then this weekend. The heater came in, and I'm surprised at the quality for it's size.

Deciding to scrap the Low-Def thigh pieces and Build the High-Def files. The old ones don't have nearly enough to work on for them to look good and be accurate. Also, in case you were wondering, I''m planning on adding deatails to the armor later on with foam or paper.

I'll be using crackhead09's files.

Printing out the new thighs tonight, will probably have them pepped in a couple days.

Left Thigh [High-Def] Completed!

Finished my first rebuild [I scrapped the Low-Def thigh] I had no idea these pieces wee as annoying as they are! I thought I'd be up to the task and the high-def pieces weren't as bad as they seemed. Not in my case, I guess.

This was one of the worst parts. Just really bad edges and tabs:

I think it'll be lifted soon, I'm re-doing some tests. But I've run into one problem. Wy dad took away my glue gun! Until I find it, No more updates but I'll probably find it tonight thanks man

Just dont get in trouble to try and update us. I honestly would rather you focus on getting out of trouble rather than updating. This way when you are out of trouble fully you can focus more on the armor on your own time

Thanks for caring about my well being, but I'm not doing it just to update you guys. I really, really like the whole crafting and making something from nothing idea. Where I lack in grades [which I'm pulling up] I like to fill it with my armor. Do you know what I mean?

Yup i totally get it. I love working with my hands and making stuff.
Sadly i cant make things right now because i am packing getting ready to move in the next month-ish so i dont want to start to build stuff to have to stop to shove it in a box or something. Its driving me crazy though lol.

Hey guys! Finally got my pep ban lifted and finished my thigh tonight! That was the last piece of armor I had planned, now I'm moving onto resin!
