Yo 405th family! After a little hiatus I am finally back to adding some much needed additions to my ODST Skirmisher. One being, a badass rucksack to carry my con swag, valuables, and snacks lol. Luckily Sean Bradley made an incredible Kit that I couldn’t recommend enough to any hell jumper looking for that cool and functional accessory. I personally ordered a kit prepped and paint ready being as I need to buy a rivet gun and other various tools. Over the last few days I’ve been slowly painting and distressing the crap out of it. (Toothpaste is an amazing resistant BTW)

Here are the progress pics, with the last one being the almost-finished product. I was thinking it might need just a little more tear around bottom edges before spraying the sealant, but I wanted to get your opinions before I did so :). Any tips are greatly appreciated

I was looking at that last night on his Etsy store, absolutely awesome and yours turned out dope man, hope it’s spacious enough.

I’m super glad you guys like it :)! I definitely recommend it as it can surprisingly hold a bit. As shown in the pictures below, I was able to safely store 2 full size spray paint cans inside, and still had room for a few small items. I will be also installing 3 small layers of 3 in thick foam with an adhesive side to go on the inside walls to prevent stuff from moving around too much. Personally, I’ll definitely be storing water bottles/ and snacks for long con excursions lol. After sanding down some of the edges I finally got the battleworn look that I’m going for! So I’ll be applying the clear sealant along with contact cementing the rails :). OtherODSTBuck how was HOD Chicago btw?

It was a ton of fun! I spent a lot of my time waiting in line for signatures, but I still managed to do everything but the VR.(Was in my armor all 3 days, so I couldn't have done that if I wanted to.) Also what finally got me to make an account here. I met a ton of great 405th guys and can't wait for the cons to start up in my area next year.

Also waiting on the announcement for Outpost 2020

But the space looks decent enough for water and snacks, maybe some smaller swag items. I want to add more pouches on my armor and a rig for my phone under the chest piece before C2E2 if I decide to hit that up. But I've been eyeing that backpack kit for a while now. May pull the trigger on it soon.
