Good Morning All,

I’m in the process of 3D Printing my ODST suit (Weta Inspired). There are a few small detailed parts I’ve not be able to find so I decided to make them! First are the buckles for top of the chest armor.

I plan on printing, cleaning them up and cold casting the parts.

Barely looks like it needs any finishing. Jeez. What printer/settings/nozzle end did you use?

It’s on my Ender-3
0.12 layer height, 0.4mm nozzle
Titan Aero Direct Drive
Polypropylene Build Plate
Sliced with Simplify3D

I have this printer dialed in, prints need minimal post processing.

Where did you get the upgrades for your ender 3 at ? I have been debating between a 3 and 5, did you create the shoulder buckle file ?

Looking good Travis !!

Titan Aero came from TH3D, and I had to print a mount for it and I made a custom blower that mimics the Lulzbot Aerostruder (360 degrees cooling)
Polypropylene Plate is from Tiny Machines 3D, Stepper Motor is a genuine Nema 17 pancake from e3D Online. Everything else is stock, even the motherboard/firmware. eSteps for the Titan Aero are gCode controller via my Slicer.

I modeled the ODST Buckles in Fusion 360. Front & Back.
