ODST Reach build - DFT

Hello! This is my first build. For the build used DFT templates. The only item I did not make myself is the helmet which was made by Armory Props.
In the near future I would like to build a Halo 3 version of an ODST so I'm looking for constructive criticism.
Any suggestions or tips are welcome!

I added the center chest armor piece as I felt as if the chest rig was too much.
I also added hip armor till I get around to making the grenades.

For a first build.....you did a really great job....Fantastic even.......Like the weathering and the color schematic. How long did it take to build? i just started 2 for the kids.

I agree with Dirtdives. For a first build it turned out great. Paint and weathering look amazing.
I have just started a H3: ODST build myself. When you start yours would love to compare notes with you.
