Pelicans: Flyable?

Okay, I know that Bungie has stated that the Pelican dropship is unable to be piloted by players, but what if they're throwing us a loop? Read the vehicles section on this link: http://www.microsoft.com/silverlight/halo3.aspx

Well it is a vehicle. I really don't see a point for players to be able to fly it.

Okay, imagine this:

You and your team are playing CTF on Sandtrap. You take a full team, minus the pilot, in for a hot drop, rapid extraction flag capture. The team of X Spartans land and lay waste to the defenses, one grabbing the flag. Then the whole team travels home, hopefully with no casualties, for a victory. How sweet would that be???

its not able to be manned cause it also has the specs for the phantom and it says 25 cargo and umm there are only 16 people split into 2 teams and that would be kinda pointless but yea pelican would be cool if you could fly it like in campiagn
