Pep to Mold

Is it possible to make a pep helmet and like cover it it a thin layer of clay and make your sculpt. Then do the regular Molding process.

To me the whole sculpting thing from scratch seems so hard. Using a pep helmet as a base for the shape seems so much easier

I guess it would work. I dont know for sure. You Probably would have to resin & fiberglass it to be strong enough to hold up clay.
