So if you make a helmet out of normal paper you should reinforce it with cardboard. How would you reinforce it? on the outside of inside? Also you put fibreglass on the inside so why not do that step before resining the outside. that way you will not need support. Is there a specific reason as to why you resin the outside and then fibreglass the inside?
because with the combined weight of resin and fiberglass, even cardstock will warp under the weight. You resin the outside first so the fiberglass will not make the helmet cave in.
Use 110 lb ardstock for your helmet. It can hold to fiberglass just fine.

If you've already used paper, I suggest lining the inside with cardboard for support.

You don't fiberglass the outside because the helmet looses details.
