Please be critical, I want my armor to look great!! I did use tape on the outside for extra hold, and hot glue on the inside. I am pretty sure when I resin, it will dissolve the tape, if not, I can fix it when I bondo.

damn that looks pretty good!

you should definitley do the H3 armor though, unless you wanna look old school

in a super critical POV, the visor is crooked in the picture. but thats natural.

Looks good so far, I just see that the top of the head is slightly skewed. Easy fix with a little extra time and bondo!

Geez, why is everyone so much faster at getting their stuff started than I am? Oh wait, I forgot...I'm lazy. haha.

Looks good so far. All the minor stuff I'm sure will get fixed when you start glassing/bondo phases.

Nice job! Thanks for uploading all the different angles. When I resined my helmet the tape didn't dissolve, but I'm not sure if that depends on what type of resin you use. Good luck with the bondo!

Holy Fast PEP Batman! You did that fast! Very good, the only critical thing I could say is: With your skill and speed I would tackle a High Def helm pep. Plus, to help with resin later rubber cement holds like crazy. Though I shouldn't say anything my pep took me a week or two. BRAVO!

I had some tape on the outside of mine and it kind of releases and cracks off. I'm sure you'll be sanding anyways, so it's just something to note. You just have to buff down where this happens, i.e. your helmet won't fall apart or anything like that. Keep it up :)

Thanks, lol, thought I put this one together yesterday, the kid I was babysitting attacked my other one with scissors! Good think I had another printed. I am thinking I might wanna make the high Def helm though.

Now that I'm home (stupid at-work server restrictions), I can give my own "critique" of this, heh heh... :D

What can I say at this point that everyone else hasn't? At the rate you're going, and with the fine Pep skills you're showing there, I don't doubt that it will be! Great job on that, girl! ;)

I have to say it's nice to see someone else using one of the earlier Pep files for thier armour, just as I am. Now I don't feel like such a loner, lol. Really, though, I know I'll get a great sense of accomplishment knowing I put in all the detail work myself, make it more my own, as it were...

wow, very clean!!! one tip (im sure you might have seen it but just incase you didnt) if you score the vally folds with a different coloured pen to the mountan folds it helps a hell of alot at the assembly stage.

oh and i had kittens destroy one of my ones, not as bad as a kid with scissors but hey

Thanks, I think if I do the hd helm (which I really think I should) I am going to skip the pen scoring and use a patter tracer for sewing, no messy in hands, and cleaner lines.

Ah, well. Guess we're back to just me using the HALO 2 file. It was nice while it lasted, lol.

Personally, I've never used the blue/red pen scoring technique myself. I just referenced the differently notched lines printed on the pieces, keeping in mind which ones were mountain folds, and which ones were valley folds. Didn't find it all that difficult, really.

I was thinking of continuing with the less-detailed HALO 2 Pep files for the rest of the armour and do with all of that what I'm doing with my helmet, but given how much time it's taking to do that I'm steering more toward using the HD Pep files myself for the rest of it.

As I'd like to have my armour done in time for this Hallowe'en (already missed one, don't want to miss another), and furthermore for DragonCon later this year, I think my progress will go a helluva lot quicker and I'll have a much better chance of getting it done in time for both occasions... :)
