Progress on custom odst

Been working on this project slowly for a month and now have to haul ass due to the new deadline. July 19th I will be attending the halo convention in philly hope you guys enjoy disregard the shin armour I'm redoing them to wrap around the shins. I had a couple peices kr scrap foam so I figured I'd try it out. As for the undersuit I may re design my red hood torso without the emblem throw a unsc marker on the right pectoral plate and use that as the undersuit as well as a easier to wear cosplay without putting all the armour on. Lastly I am buying a 3d printer friday and will be printing out the helmet and ab plates the reason I am doing this is because I want the abs to be carbon fiber so after they are printed and sanded I'm going to go to my hydrodip tank and throw some carbon fiber on them to give em a tactical look in case I forget to post here check out my Instagram at oracle_studios2 (

Welcome to the forums! I can see where the pardee’s at! Stellar first post, you clearly are very passionate and it’s awesome you’re combining different processes into your build. I haven’t heard of hydrodipping and thank you for sharing photos but can you describe the process a bit more and what the result is? I look forward to seeing what you’re able to achieve. Carry on.

Helmet is assembled I threw a coat of fiberglass on it waiting to dry now. If it warps I'll just grab some bondo.

Did some customization to the suit. I'm not having gauntlets or bicep armour just the shoulder peices so I figured I'd throw a robotic prosthetic onto the build
