Question about certain Halo: Reach armor parts (Foam)

I was wondering if anyone had or knows where I can get the template files for the Grenadier Chest/UA, Mark VI Helmet, FJ Knee Pads and the UA/Chobham?

Since I looked for them in the Armory but there are only the Pepakura files but not in its foam version

I would appreciate your help. I'm thinking about starting my first project and I would like to have all the files first hahaha

Pepakura is somewhat-similar to how you would make a foam part, you just need to consider the foam thickness and foam flexibility to use as an advantage. I mainly do foamwork, but most of the files I use are pepakura-based.

This video will teach you how to do foam unfolds. This, in my opinion, is one of the best techniques to make templates out of. If you get stuck I'm happy to help but I think it best if you give it a shot first.

Practice with some cardboard first. When you're ready, move onto foam. PunishedProps on YT has some great advice for getting started.

I'd start with 8-10mm, or about 1/2". Anywhere near that range should be fine. As you get better, you can get thinner stuff for detailing.

I may have the fj\para knee files id have to take a look, and with the chest it's basically Jorge's chest armor which should be in the armory under the grenadier tab. With the UA/Chobham, I have the file it just needs to be unfolded

I assumed they would be there but there is only the pepakura insole and not the foam one

If you could pass them on to me it would be very helpful since I've been trying to make them but it just doesn't work hahaha

They are .PDO files which work for both pepakura and Foam. Only issue is due to the nature of EVA foam and being Thick you might need to get rid of the little thickness template areas and you should be able to just layer foam on top of it. Many of foamsmiths have used these templates for their eva foam builds including myself.

Ok, it looks like it's converted for foam use so you should be good there and I'll get to the other stuff sometime this weekend

Here are the knees and the thigh attachment, I also downloaded that grenadier chest and it's already converted for foam so you're all set on that one as well. Happy building!
