Question about Resin and Hardener

I was wondering if I could use Flex Seal to harden the pepakura paper model. Its probably a dumb question but I was hoping to save a couple bucks. Thanks for responses.

Flex Seal is a rubber spray that only adheres to the surface. It doesn't penetrate and it has too much flex to be used as a hardener. Resin is absorbed by the paper. That is why we use the thickest paper possible other wise it will warp.
