Foam Rakshasa themed H3 recon helmet

Rakshasa core/ Artaius themed Halo 3 recon helmet. Eva foam build with sintra antenna attachment and tactical attachments from AliExpress. While I really liked the armor set, none of the helmets really spoke to me other than the artais only being the least unsavory than the others since it kind of looks like an ODST. And since this Spartan build is a lore continuation of my ODST cosplay figured he’d level up his helmet too. Also have been rocking recon since Reach mp and almost made this helmet a couple years ago for a variant for my odst and it had an easier visor to deal with so it was nice to finally pull the trigger on this build. Same grey/green as my ODST and decals/numbers in the same placements as Dare’s and forehead attachment worked perfectly since the original design looks to already have a mount of some kind. Weathered with blackwash acrylic, silver rub n buff, rust activator paint and real dirt. Full suit build reveal coming soon!

mad respect bro! foam helmets are not easy and you knocked it out of the park! is the attachment permanent? or can you swap between different attachments? it might be cool to throw a camera up there for conventions lol. either way it looks siiickk

Thanks!! The base triangle shaped part its, the screws are just poked into the foam and glued so there’s no nut on the other side squishing the foam. So the top attachment does come off from its base. Being the heaviest part of the helmet it makes it front heavy but I got my fan battery pack in the back to help with that. The camera is a great idea! Thought about doing another Romeo sniper attachment like how the infinite marines have them on mounts but I think it looks cool as it is, plus with just the triangle shaped base looks like the standard helmet that has a mount looking square in that space anyways

Thanks dude! Definitely helped capture the look of the artaius attachment without having to try to replicate it by hand!
