I'm sure you guys have done the campaign at least once now. What did you think?

I honestly can't think of a better ending for the game. It really gave me that "full circle" feeling, but without being overly repetitive (what I mean is Bungie didn't just insert an HD version of Halo 1's opening).

Plus I thought the Lone Wolf "mission" was a great way to end the game. And you never see Noble Six die, so you can make of the ending what you want. But what's with all the other dead Spartans? None of them were from Noble Team. . .

Oh, and how many of you saw Master Chief?

I thought both the ending and the Lone wolf mission were great. I also saw the Chief! ^_^

Where was the chief?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!

That was a frickin epic ending!!!! It seems the only one to live was Jun, if I am not mistaken...

And umm... We got it wrong, Kat is REALLY mean to Carter!!!

At the end of the Pillar of Autummn mission you will see the cutscene and you need to move your looking stick to the right and when it gets to the hanger part of the Pillar of autumn your stick will swerve to the right and you'll see chief in his Cryo tube.

I totally missed the MC because I am dumb and was being distracted by the 405th while playing Reach. XP

Lone Wolf is like Firefight on steroids.

only stupid part is even if you have full health, if you get shot so many times, it ends.

You're wrong there, dude. Noble 6 did infact die. IF you watched the video where Halsey talks you can hear her say, "Your body. Your Armor. Belongs to Reach.".

It was burned and turned to glass, so yeah.

But there was nobody around to verify that, they just assumed. Years later Noble Six's shattered helmet was discovered but that's it. The planet was glassed too badly or the helmet wouldn't still be laying there and the planet wouldn't be re-colonised within the next century. And at the end of Halo 3 everyone assumed Chief was dead, even though he was MIA.

I agree, Noble 6 is still probably out there... hidden away...

Hey did anyone else hear Buck on the level that you fly the Falcon?

No, I'm going to assume 6 is dead. He doesn't get up from THAT. I'm just going to let him die in a way that he should, instead of a whole, "NO LOOK, HE'S NOT DEAD SEE?" kinda thing. It's how I would've preferred Halo 3 end.

I'd say Noble 6 is dead. It's possible Jorge survived the slipspace jump, but without a cryo tube and on a ship filled with covvies he probably didn't last too long.

Ya, Six is most likely dead. But "Spartans don't die, they are just missing in action" I'd like to think that before that Elite stabs Six with his blade you hear the report of a sniper rifle and that Elites head turns to mist. What can I say I like a happy ending.

I don't remember what mission it was but you have ODSTs right there next to you at the beginning of the mission it could be possible that one of them could be one of the ODSTs from H3 ODST. I could have sworn I read where someone posted that you are supposed to see MC in one of the ending cinematics but I never saw it or was I supposed to beat Legendary to see that?

I have to agree. I just don't think that someone could live through getting stabbed with mutiple energy swords, and who knows what else the elites did to him. They could have taken off his armor and eaten his organs.

No none of the ODSTs that you fight alongside are from H3 ODST, none of the names were the same. But in the mission where you fly the Falcon around one of the objectives is to escort Buck, and you hear him over the radio. Not everyone seems to get that objective though.

And you see MC in the ending cinematic of Pillar of Autumn. When you see the view from inside the landing bay of the Pelican about to enter, hold the right stick to the right and you will catch a glimpse for a couple of seconds. I don't think that you can view it in theater, the level has to be played. And it doesn't have to be on Legendary, there is no special ending for Legendary.
