Recon pepakura helmet

Hi this is my halo 3 recon helmet build

I Used carbon fiber instead of fiberglass cloth it's much stronger and easier to use however it costs more and has less flex so if it bends too much it will crack and break easier compared to fiberglass which flexes overall it's a very cool material but maybe not ideal for pepakura considering its price





did some bondo work and it feels very solid

Nice work! Can't wait to see some paint on it. Maybe a little more filling and sanding to go, but looking really good.

It's coming along great! I haven't done a pep and bondo helmet in a few years, I dont have the patience for it anymore. Can't wait to see it finished!

thanks guys i did a little bit more bondo work today but this is very likely going to be a long build xD since i have so many other projects im working on
