Now that I finished a based mk7 mp spartan, time to resume my second reach suit for halo infinite and reach in general as a Helljumper spartan.
Before infinite stuff came out, I had already completed a set of shins, boots, biceps and forearms. Now all I have left to do is the chest, thighs, waist, and shoulder/chest and thigh attachments.

Will be trying new stuff to this second reach suit. Like shoulder attachments and chest attachment.

I could attach some images of the mounts I'm playing around with if you like. They are designed to be 3D printed but I'm sure they could inspire a foam version if that's what you're working with.

Sure. That sounds like a good idea

The idea I'm working with is a two part mount consisting of a hook on one part of the armor and a cutout for the hook to hold onto on the other.

Here the yellow is a playing the part of the hook and the pink will be the opening it slots into. Imagine the pink part is inside of a shoulder pad.

The hook slides into and then up, locking it in place. Magnets will help keep everything locked and guide the parts together.

This is the mount I designed for my hip and M6, notice the parts press together and then with help from some magnets everything gets pulled into place and locks.

It's very sturdy! With foam being much lighter I think you could pull off similar results with all the parts being foam. Magnets attached to the chest and arms that meet with any attachment might also hold if with a simple peg design instead of a hook.

Lots of other ways you could find too if this doesn't work.

I get to update this finally lol. Did a quick suit up of what I got completed. I just gotta do the chest and my first time at reach thighs.
