Im going to try to make ODST Armor for Youmacon and Halo 4 Midnight release.

First off the helmet( I did not make the helmet) I Did fix most of the minor imperfections in the raw cast to the best of my abilities. I made the visor, and did the paint job. Not finish with the painting still need to add some black. I don't know if i should add battle damage to it or not.
Here's my progress so far

Couldn't decide what chest plate to make.Right now Im leading towards the hugh odst files.
If you want to know the Japanese Kanji on the helmet is "Kill"

Feel free to give me any feedback and let me know if the pics aren't showing up.

Your helmet looks great man. The pep work looks pretty great, too. If you are planing on using Hugh's chest core, then I suggest using Hugh's chest plate. I really like Kirrou's, and that's what I used, but when it does not attach right to the chest core. It looks great from the front, but there are some lager gaps on the side, and there are only two decent contact points to attach it to.

It looks good and I can't wait to see more. We can always use more Helljumpers!

I am planing using Hugh's chest core. I don't know to pep or foam. I seen quite a few foam chest core which looks great.

Update I finished painting the helmet, need to fix a few areas. like the black
triangle.

Just finished the rest the chest assets. I just started working on the Chest core. After looking at rino's odst build, I decided to go with foam. I am following rino chest core tutorial. So far so good( Until i burn myself with the hot glue gun). It should be done at the end of the day. Now pics.

Well I ran into a few problems with the chest core. The neck area was too small and my head didn't fit into it. So I extend and made the neck hole wider. Now it fit just fine. I still need added a few more buckles and a few minor details. I finished peping the belt and fanny pack.

It looks great! I'm definitely following your build since it'll help me a lot with Hugh's ODST files. I'm glad you mentioned rino's build for the foam chest core. I was planning on using foam for it too.

I think you got the right idea man, soft foam chest core for comfort and hard bondoed plates. Should make the whole thing alot more confortable

This, my friend, is AWESOME!! I loved DMC and this build is already looking good enough to do it justice! Keep up the great work!! You could try to paint the helmet in a krauser-like way, too

Thank you for wonderful comments. Yes, I am a Detroit Metal City Fan. I was think doing the scratches on the visor like emile, in the face of krauser. (Still trying figure that out)

Not much progress yesterday since Jafax 17 just got one part down which is front hip plate.I got my smooth cast 320. Im going try Harding my armor with it. Since Hickeydog did great video on it. (im going to do a small piece to try it out before i do my entire armor, Just to see if i like it more than fiberglassing)

Today I tested out Smooth-cast 320 for harding my armor. Just one piece. For my first coat i kinda mix too much material, and wasted some plastic. Second coat, didn't waste any material. I learn from my mistakes. I love it better than Fiber glassing. :)
I might get the other Smooth-cast product so i have a longer work time. The pic are 2 coats of smooth-cast320. I might add a few more coats just to cover the sides.

Well I harden the rest of the pieces with smooth-cast 320.( I might never go back to fiber glassing) Also I finished pep the shoulder pieces. I use hugh's shoulders since I really like his files. And the Blood ID type fits pretty well (Thanks again, TD-0013 for making them). Now pics

you're gonna give me neck pains with those awesome, side-turned pictures, Satsugai ;-) (Emphasis on "awesome", though)

How does your shoulder piece hold on its own with the shoulder base? mine can't stay in place and always drops, so I'll have to link it to the chest core with a strap :/

How does your shoulder piece hold on its own with the shoulder base?
Right now is duck tape. Im going to drill two holes(one on the left and right side) on the shoulder though the base, and use screw and bolts to hold them together. My shoulder piece only slides a little bit, so i might have to strap it to the chest core so it won't slide as much.

Ill try to keep the pics up and down.
