Scaling, how do I not wind up wearing a super suit?

Just started my first suit (god bless whoever compiled the Pep archive) and I am all ready to print off my suit on card-stock. However I want to make sure not to print it off in the wrong size. I know how to edit the scale but I am not familiar with the scaling formula. I am using the Halo 3 Marine files by Rundown. Could someone walk me through what I am supposed to do? Thank you!
