they prolly used money left over from the halo movie which hasn't yet happened, i mean the white house model used in independence day cost 150k to make, and it was about the size of one person this thing is like 20x30x12 feet

Correction i forgot where its ethier on bungie or xbox but it is 1200 sq feet bigger then ma house. -.-
