Looks great! Nice work. :)

I'd be willing to build it for ya but my printer and cardstock is all packed up for a house move. Besides my Pep experience hasn't quite stretched into armor making. YET! ;)

So your wanting someone to test build it? I might do it when I get home. :)

EDIT: Nevermind I can't open it... :( Sad face...

GOing to start on it tomorrow ;)
Matthijs

EDIT: I don't know the hight of it. It's locked so I can't change it to fit my shoulder pieces...

'Guess I should have explained.. it's locked so you guys don't all go build something that's a PITA, or missing something. In this case, the test builder actually suggested some changes, so I'll be iterating it back to modeling and re-unfolding it with them added. But, you can still have a look at the model, even if it's locked.

Oh, and a note: I included some flat floating faces. They're in there to act as stencils, the idea is that it'll scale along with the rest of the piece, and you can just cut it right out of the cardstock, trace it on some .1-1/8" thick stock, and get the shapes to epoxy on, without any extra files. It's a hack, for sure. We've come up with several now. XD

Oh, moar picture:

Might tweak a few things while I'm fixing it..

you beat me to everything, i started the scout chest, you finished first. then i started gathering ref pics for the security shoulders and you're already done.

base post updated: unfolded, test-built, naow you can has downlood.

You're designing things like a bat out of hell! Good work!

PS: as thorough as you are I'm sure you all ready thought to update your state of the perms thread but I thought I'd just remind.

The model looks pretty good, although I'd have personally put the side pieces as part of the model, not seperate pieces. But that's just me.

Looking at your "Mask" shot, the security shoulders remind me a bit of a daft punk helmet.

I take it you built one test shoulder and photoshoped it in by mirroring part of your self? Nice saves on labor and error.

Sorry miss understood ya Robo.

I agree but this way might work better to develop inter-changeable shoulders.
I meant the little round-ish pieces on the side of the shoulder. They are not built into the shoulder model.

@robo: did it that way because it's easier to smooth without them, and they themselves need smoothing, which is also easier-done separately
@doc: yeah, mirrored it, then chopped an asymmetrical head onto it so it didn't immediately pop out as a shoop.
@lee: whatever do you mean? it's done... o_O

Nice work, on the shoulder and the pic. It has a really interesting fell to it, like walking thought I mirror house.

hey vrogy, you dont look like a nutcase like in your avatar! You seem to be....staring into my soul....

Is there a special scaling on this one, or does it cover the entire bicep?

EDIT: Nevermind, i just saw the H3 pic, its the whole bicep. ugh, this is gonna be a pain.
