Sigma: The Game! weekly Updates

Weekly update: 8/6/10

Welcome back guys and girls! we have some juicy stuff for you today!

lets start with some back story!

During the months between the chiefs disappearance and the memorial at the end of the war, ONI began conscripting for their most ambitious project... the spartan III class IV's. a hybrid of the SII and the SIII, these class IV's were to be the best of the best. ONI researched and found 61 children, orphans of the ages of 6-8, and began training them in secret facilities in the habitable sectors of harvest.

In the game we follow Sigma team as they go from fresh out of training, to heroes in league with the chief himself.

two members of sigma team are Jack-S037 (Leader), and Eric-S025 (sniper):

For the nine years after The Human-Covenant war, the UNSC has used it's low budget (this budget does not include ONI's secret "SPARTAN FUND") in two main area's, Recovery (operation New Reach) and advancement. This advancement includes using recovered prototype tech found on reach during it's recovery.

I NEED A WEAPON...

The M6R Side arm is a stripped down M6G with the classic M6D asthetics. with low damage but a high rate of fire and decent accuracy, the M6R is the go-to hand gun for all SPEC-WAR groups circa 2556.

After the M45 was recovered on reach, UNSC specialists sought out to better it's technology. With a quicker sliding pump, Maglite, and a protective hand guard, the M90/A tactical shotgun delivers it's 10 shells into any foolish oppenent that might get in your way.

With a long rang and unbeatable accuracy, there is no question why the SRS has been the main-stay sniper across all branches of the UNSC. sporting the new ORACLE III smartlink scope, with T.D.A.S. technology, this rifle can track up to four targets through it's scope allowing for more efficiency on the battlefield.
 
That shot gun looks really great. I like the shells on the side of the barrel. When are you expecting the game to be finished?

to be honest, no idea lol probably some time around the end of 2011 is my best rough estimate.

BTW you have any ideas of armor for me to draw up?
Haven't logged in to the site in a while
CQC Mk. VII perms? like shoulders, and attachments for the helm and body...

Serenity:

Set in the "Unstoppable Patriarch" this symmetrical, covenant themed map takes the fight to the covenant Resting area. Akin to it's older brother aboard the "Unyielding Hierophant" Whether you prefer sniping from the cat-walks or fighting in the simulated environments bellow, but watch out for hidden secrets here or there...

Cliffside:

Based on the Bridges from the level "Assault on the control room", cliffside comes complete with two "bases" and a lower level of combat...

Ground Zero:

fight your way through the enemy in this destroyed city on New Harmony.

HELP WANTED

We have positions open for:
-Sound: help with music, sound effects...
-Modelling: obvious. 3D modelers
-Concept Art: again, obvious. Maps, weapons, vehicles, characters...
-UI/GUI: HUD, menus, etc.
