SMOOTH SECURITY SHOULDERS

LINK HERE

I just made a pair of smooth ones, and thought I'd share the file with you. :)

In my opinion, they look a bit better than the original, and are a LOT easier to make, but tell me what you think.

I know, 'pics or it didn't happen,' but 'patience is a virtue.'

I'll have some pics of my pepped ones hopefully within the next hour.

EDIT: Pictures in post 7

That's pretty sweet looking. Now all we need is a visor for the Security helmet...

If you mean a pep version, there's one on the Costuming Wiki :)

Nah, I mean a visor ludicrously big enough to fit once you finish painting the helmet

Still, downloaded this just in case I need it in the future.

Nicely done. This next bit of advice doesn't help you now that you've already pepped it, but oftentimes, if you run the cut lines horizontally instead of the default vertical (or vice versa), such as for the main body of these shoulders, you can reduce the part count considerably. I haven't looked at the pep file yet, but just looking at your screenshot...

There are 14 vertical strips running down the main part of these shoulders, 28 or more if you've divided the strips in half where the top and bottom halves meet. But if you run the strips horizontally, you can get the same smoothness with 7 or so strips, 14 if they're too long to fit on the paper.

Hope this helps for any future smooth pep files you do. :D
