so Im starting a new project a regular spartan Mark whatever helmet
for the base I am using plaster cloth, I know plaster is supposedly heavy.
Well the cloth is not, I have a finished maximus/Gladiator mask (cause the helmet was to small so I had to cut it )
Ill post pics when I can have it back from the art teacher.
The small helmet weighed about .8 lbs so it doesnt weigh a lot.
I just want to know of something to smooth it with and if there is anything that doesnt smell to bad. My parents can't stand it even when I just spray paint.

Only thing I can think of that is non toxic is paper mache on the outside, and hot glue on the inside, read my hot glue tutorial, and look for a paper mache tutorial on google. Also, if you have money, there is aqua resin which is non toxic resin.

well it depends where you live if you live in a city dont listen but if you have a nice yard out back or somthing you could just take it out into the yard and do whatever you need to but in the summer of course. (if its winter where you live?)
also i think that they might make non-smelly spray paints but im not sure. might be somthing you want to check out. hope that helps. cant wait to see the other helm!
