Something good to sculpt...

I've looked at the QCB from every single angle, drawn up several concepts and I really want to make one of the first QCB helmets. So does anyone have any good recommendations for something sculptable and sturdy?

Best to get sulphur-free clays if you intend on making a rubber mold of the item.
