Hey guys, just wanted to give you the heads up those who bypass the front page, I know there haven't been many updates lately (that's how you can tell DragonCon is getting close around here for you new people ;) ) plus we had the few days of server down time. No fear the Source team is still active and we've got tons of content coming your way and a bunch was released today that you may want to check out:

First up was the recent Operation Orange Texas Prop Party where our correspondent UNSC_Leatherneck was present to capture all the happenings. Also we take a look back at a technique that's been around since the early years of this forum but is often overlooked by those who don't want to deal with hazardous chemicals, clay over pep. Today was also Machinima Wednesday where we unleashed creator's commentary of the recent Pathogen Ep1 by our very own forum member and honorary guest Eades. Also today was the second part to our favorite Halo movie, The Forgotten Spartans by our good friend Darknal. Rounding out the trio is our newest machinima addition, a hilarious comedy, Phil. Phil plays a newcomer to the Halo 3 multiplayer experience, which brings to life all the people you come to love and hate (multiplayer language included). Rounding out the day is issue #2 of a great comic strip titled Running Riot by our very own RedTogusa. So stop in check it all out.

Cheers,

Kensai

Yep, the Source Team is still alive and (mostly) well. Working hard on various projects (and trying not to die in the oppressive summer heat down here in Louisiana. Well, I am anyway.) We'll keep good stuff coming. Expect a break around DragonCon, as we will be immersed in the madness that is the convention, but after that we'll be back with a vengeance.

Just a quick update, our Prop Grant program started by Ithica is up on the front page along with the newest chapter of Odessa. Also be sure to follow the 405th Source on Twitter where you can gain even more free stuff such as 405th shirts, hats, lanyards, posters and much more... and that's just over the last few months. Also I just released the first of many photos of the first and only 405th medic which is a 405th Source Exclusive... what does that mean? Well you'll only read about the build and see all the newest photos of it's build by being a follower of the 405th Source and reading www.405th.com as they won't be found anywhere on the forum, sorry. Just a reminder, register at www.405th.com and participate in our articles, there are many 405th Source members who are not forums members so come hang out :)

Cheers,

Kensai
