i still have to make 3 more sets of spikes, but they'll be done soon

The extra spikes look good.

Awesome. Glad to hear that your going to finish it. Hope to see finished pics soon.

Good job man. How hard was it going the 3d way with the spikes?

How's the scale? I was a little worried but in the picture it looks about right.

the 3d spikes weren't that hard to do just a little more work, and they stay on better. the scale feels right to me.
good job on the model garland, thanks alot

yeah the spikes are 2d in my version, just little cutout pieces of paper.

i will definitley add this to my list.

EDIT: Wow. i am an idiot.

didnt even bother to check the 2d window for the other spike parts.

you may point and laugh now.

ya if you zoom out you'll see that the other half of the spikes are at the top left...lol sorry i couldn't stand not laughing

actually fiberglassing the outside wouldnt be a bad idea because the model doesnt demand alot of detail attention

ya i was wondering how i was going to strengthen it enough so it doesn't break...i guess fiber glassing it outside would work

What I was thinking of doing with mine is resining the outside, then cutting it open with either my dremel or a pair of scissors or something, then fiberglassing the inside, sanding the edges down a bit, and gluing it back together with a two-part epoxy. Then you'd just have to sand the seam over a bit and paint it.
