That's the first build I've seen of the RC lid. Any chance you could send me some more pics of them? You still have my email?? I'd love to have a good look at how the RC lid in particular turned out.

Hey Skip,
I think IMHO that the clone helmet is too elongated, it's similar to the MIKE helmets out there that look rather retarded, if you'd like to retrace your steps I can give you several helmet pictures that are considered among the most accurate helmets out there, 501st wise so that we can get a perfect clone helmet model if you'd like,

Darkesword, I was working from pics of the accurate lids out there. 
I think your thought on the lid are based on that second pic? The one with the Clone lid on it's own?? Perspective distortion seems to be playing a big part there. Wen I first saw it I thought "God is my model that bad?". But then if you look back at the first pics, the group shot it looks just fine.
I thought the same thing when I recieved pics of Smilie120s build but then he sent me one where the camera wasn't so close to minimize that perspective distortion and again the lid looked good.

Jax Archillies, You think it's way off?? Ok, I can handle negative feedback no problem.
However, the pics you've posted are of RC lids that have been cast. I've seen them everywhere and they were not made from Pepakura templates. So to try and pss those off as Pep builds is frankly a little foolish. I spend alot of time around the SW costuming forums and recognise those lids straight away. If these pics weren't intended to depict a pep build then I'm sorry.
If you're going to knock someone else' work and back it up with "Here's mine." you should at least show us your pep build, or better, your own pep file.
My lid was modelled using blueprints drawn by a very good and talented friend. The reference library that that gave the material for us to work from was huge! Also the blueprints were made from a blend of both the game reference, and pics of the BEST RC lids out there.
If you think my modelling ability hasn't done the RC lid justice for you then that's cool, just back your comments up with your own work, or at least say WHY you think it's off.

hey hey guys this post wasnt meant to bash on weather or not these are good models, it was meant for my progress thread of my new and upcoming projects, skips stuff is very well done and I wouldnt have bought the files if I didnt think other wise so here are so more more detailed pics of his bucket, now you must take in acount that the top was difficult to put together and may be a little wavy, but its nothing fiberglass and bondo cant fix and I assure you this will look good by the time I'm done with it.
Id also like to say thanks for the ironman chest I'll probably take a crack at it. and also i wanted to post a pic of something I made yesterday from scatch, its origonal and I made it for my sister for christmas because she loves dragons
