And yes I've already read all the stickies about scaling. My problem is(not sure of the exact wording cause I dont have the stickie in front of me) people in the sticky say they use a scaling number, lets say of 9.5, where do you enter this number?
I tried under the 2dpatternwindow>scale up/down by specific value>scale, I put that in and the assembled height comes out as 994 cm!! That gives the markVI helmet an assembled height of 32.6 feet. What am i doing wrong? Im obviously entering the numbers wrong or in the wrong place.

Okay, simple scaling. Robos files only need you to insert youre height iun inches. Take the height from there and put it in the file you want of the same type

I'm using flyingsquirls mkVI high def.
Go and measure the distance between your ears and then I'll tell you what its assembled height should be.

The distance across the front of my face between my ears is 12 inches if thats what you meant.
Check your measurement again. Twelve inches is way too big. The normal range is about 15 - 20 cm.

Yes. How did you do it the first time? Oh, wait. Don't answer that.

EDIT: Remember, measure it in centimeters.

I get near 31-32 cm(about 12.5") measuring from ear hole to ear hole across the upper lip on my face with a tape measure. Perhaps, Shake and I just have large heads?

1" = @ 2.54 cm

Well, maybe I should have been clearer. One should use a straight ruler and not a tape measure to find the distance. It's not the most convenient but this distance need not be very precise.

EDIT: FYI, for a 12-in distance (30 cm), I'm getting an assembled height of 41.6 cm. Now I know that that's way too big for anyone.

29 centimeters
I'm also 28 years old and have a big head so it might be slightly more. lol_2.gif

DId you use a tape measure or straight ruler? Use a straight ruler.

For 29 cm, the assembled height is 40.6 cm. This is way too big, like Andre the Giant big!

its hard to say using a ruler, but i'd say around 8 inches.
I'm getting something like 32.7 cm for the assembled height. Still a little big, IMO.

You already deleted your 3rd consecutive post by the time he posted his comment. Next time, don't do it. Simply press the "EDIT" button in the lower right hand corner of your post instead of making another post.
