Hopefully my last post before I start the Pepakura!

I was just wondering, are the support struts really necessary? I'm on a low budget, and cannot really afford to spend a lot on paper. The support struts make up about a ¼ of all of the sheets; if I leave them out, they'll save me a bit of money, but what happens if I do? Can / Will it do anything exceptionally bad to the build?

Thanks for reading,

not needed, but advised. without them your helmets almost most likely going to warp. plus there easy to cut out and they save time in the end.

Yes. Make the struts. I made the mistake of not not adding the struts and the helmet had to be scrapped because of excessive warping.

Yes, you will use more cardstock that you would if you didn't make them, but for proper results, make them.

Thanks both of you! I'll definitely add them!
True it's a bit more money, but at 5p a sheet? I don't mind!

Thanks again,
