So basically what I'm asking for is people to help me out with the paint I should/need to use to make my helmet look amazing. I'm not talking colors I'm talking company's so that would help also iv been people seeing people talk about a special type of tape that's made for this stuff. All I wanna know is the name of it and where to buy it.
Thanks so much!

I think the tape you're talking about is painter's tape. It's the blue tape that you can buy at your local walmart or any other deparment store. Just ask for painter's tape and I'm sure they'll know what you're talking about.

I recommend Dupli-Color Perfect Match spray paint. It comes in a couple dozen different colors, and is made for cars. It gives that metal look for pretty cheap.

Try to get some vinyl tape. It's great for curves and leaves a nice, crisp edge. Use this first, then a painters tape or masking tape to mask off the rest. The vinyl tape that I've worked with is usually red. Good stuff in my opinion. Usually available at hardware stores, or auto stores. Hope this helps.

Wow sweet thanks guy for all the input on everything! Now all I gotta do is get my hands on some of this stuff and get to work! Thanks,

frog painters tape like Mendez mentioned Is great, that's what i use on my helmets. leaves a nice crisp line and doesn't leave any residue behind when you're ready to pull it.works better than the blue painters tape. i get it at home depot or lowes

If you need extremely crisp lines, or need to conform to difficult shapes and curves, I would use tape for models. At your local hobby store they should carry some model masking tape from tamiya. It's very good to use. You can use it to make the line you want, and then overlap some painters tape to cover more ground. That would give you the best results if you need it. Might be overkill for some applications but how often do we bring a rocket launcher to a knife fight in a slayer match anyway? Lol
