I've just been wondering, when exactly is the movie gunna be based?
During the spartan training on reach as described in the first novel or perhaps later during the defense of earth?

If any of you could give me the lowdown that would be dandy.

In all seriousness, there were a few supposed 'leaked scripts' but nothing confirmed. The party line here seems to be from the first novel leading up the the events of Halo 2.... but remember;

and the movie budget that he got froze!
