The New Update Just Released

Hey guys, I logged on todayand noticed the new update started up, and Holy Crap that a lot of achievements! And the skulls are on multiplayer maps, I bet they would make a good weapon . I also noticed a couple bugs have been fixed. Anyway, what do you think?

Well in my oppinion, I think Bungie sucks for changing some of the major things in multiplayer. The taking away of everones current GRADE is the worst thing they changed! And the 8 man "battle royal" (lol) is not too bad. It will deffinetly take some getting used to! I havent seen any of the other achievements yet.And i havent seen the skulls on multiplayer maps either>Where are the skulls located?On all maps in multiplayer?Are they on Lone wolves as well? Well anyways, I think they did a pretty decent job and I will play more when I get off of work today!

I disagree, we still have our total ranks.
I was a General grade 2, so it was kind of 'boring' to play since i couldnt achieve much more.
Now i have more stuff to do

The point of the skulls is, so that they are difficult to find. Get it? Anyways, they will come with the mythic map packs.

with the addition of new achievements, will that mean that people who haven't, say, unlocked all 49 yet will have to unlock those plus the new ones to get certain armor permutations?

no, to get tha katana and so on, u need to have all the "regular" achivments. It dosnt matter if u have any new ones! But ther is rumors that there will be more armor permutations released later! Is that cool or what?

Actually, you just have to get a 1000points (someone did it on the HBO).
I think the hidden skulls in the new maps might unlock the permuntations =D

Would be cool. But bungie said no new Bodypieces or permutations are coming.

Dude, you are wrong. If you have all exept one "old" achivments, and then yout a new achivment, you still wont get the katana, Because you need all the old achivments for that, regardless if you have any new...

Soon after that Bungie had totaly denied that thee will be any new maps, and that the new scull achivments are a type-mistake/joke. XD

Bungie has said there will be new maps at a later date. I just updated yesterday before work so haven't had much time to play and work on the new achievements.

TB - I suggest you check bungie.net for their view on getting the katana...they are the experts and know what they are talking about. Try reading what they say about the new achievements/katana. I would suggest you do your homework before you open your mouth. There are several ways to get the katana. Bungie I'm sure knows them all. There are glitches in the system, which Bungie admits to. Research first, open mouth second. Or in certain cases, open mouth, insert foot. The old saying of "Think before you speak" definitely holds true here.
