Thinking Of Making Grunt Armor

Hey guys, I'm having a hard time of choosing which armor to make first since I'm new to things like pepakura. I wanted your thoughts of which I should do. Note: I can't start pepakura emidately because I don't have enough money to buy ink for my printer and cardstock, ect, BUT I do have some card board lying around. I just thought of donig it because it's about time someone showed some respect towards grunts. Like come on, they were cute in Halo CE and 2.

Pleae keep in mind I MIGHT make it. NO promises.

its up to you but if you whont start with cardboard thats fine and if you change your mind save up and us pepakura

In all honesty unless you were a dwarf/midget (I have nothing against them, My grandfather was a dwarf) Then chances are it will generally look fail.



Sorry to burst your bubble but it's just not appealing. Not only are grunts Weak, Pathetic, F*ck ugly and annoying, They have ridiculous body proportions that nobody could possibly make a suit to replicate, I've seen one or two grunt costumes both filled with fail.

I don't see why you don't go for something with a more human body structure, Elite, Brute, Hunter.

The hunter's badass and simple too, you don't need pep for it at all.



Also the grunt armor may be small but it isn't simple, It has just as much detail as a Mk Iv helmet.

Well I can at least try. Besides I'm about 5ft, 5inches, and if I bend my knees a bit then I'm around 4ft which is a grunt's height. I just want to try; ok?

Which is a grunts height WITH ARMOR.

i would use both pep and cardboard but i dont think it will look rite when wearing it

If you would say that anybody that builds armor for a character and is not the the right body type fail,well unless everyone that does MC armor is 7' tall they also fail.



Well I would use cardboard because Grunt armor isn't that complicated.There are plenty of people who are working on grunt armor and using cardboard just take a look in the forums.

I've changed my mind and I'm abandoning this project. Instead I'm going to try to start some ODST armor just out of cardboard within the next day or two. I MIGHT post some photos of my progress, but I can't promise. I'll be starting a new topic tomorrow for the new project. Can anyone tell me on how to lock this topic?
