I found a thomas helmet file (cant remember whos it is, if its yours let me know.), but all of the pieces such as top, visor, chin, are seperated.

So im joined them, and making this thread just to put it out there.

Im just starting to dabble in 3d modeling, so dont expect anything too big right now.

I consolidated the ears my self( couldn't find the file).

Heres what it looks like compared to the old one.(new ones on the right)



Will have conected by tomorrow, and unfolded and posted by friday.

Alrighty, so here's a quick note, there are 2 layers to the helm, an inner and an outer, I think the inner layer needs to be deleted first before it can be unfolded properly. Otherwise, it will be hell to build.

Ummm, hate to be a bother, but there is one more problem, then it will be perfect, inside the ears is still the second layer.

Also, ive done an unfold of the daft punk hand pieces.

Its was only one hand but i made it two.

Maybe I'm on crack, but it looks like it separates into 2 separate cylinders. It's almost done, I'll take a screenshot of what I'm talking about.

Yea it is.

I found it very annoying when building my first one.

Especially sine the guy who did it the first time didnt do it correctly.

There were pieces missing, folds where backwards.

It was a mess, so i redid it.

Couldnt figure out how to get rid of the second layer though.
