Tracker helmet electronics help

So i recently just finished my h4 tracker helmet and i have a question.
for the three "eyes" i want to install an LED in each one, but i have literally NO electronics experience. if someone could walk me through what to do, or better yet, draw me up a diagram (im a visual learner ) that would be awesome!

Heres a quick short tutorial on how to wire an led to a switch. There is probably better out there but its the basics.

I suggest big round LEDs. you can have the wires inside the helmet and they dont have to be pretty because, well, only you will see 'em.
