If you find any of the methods discussed to be outdated, please let me know and I may remove it from the list.

It would be great if this index could be sent to any new member once they joined......it would save a lot of time and point people in the right direction right out of the gate......this latest rendition of "what to do first" is great. It should be stuck as well.

Connor C they are just for fun. Some people like to create backstories for their cosplayers and some members liked this as a visual representation of that. Maybe something they could share on social media. I like the idea as well and think it would be fun to incorporate more.

This isn't a tutorial but more of a question. But I'm completely new to this and wouldn't know what software/program would be good for creating a layout and design. And of course what is a good but affordable 3D printer and etc. I was just looking for a push in the right direction. Thank you!!

Hi PugLife usually what happens is people post that question on an active 3d printed build thread, which you can find here. Halo 3D Modeling If after reading through other projects and threads without finding an answer then you should make a thread there outlining what you hope to do and I'm sure people will chime in.

As with any build it will require lots of reading and watching of videos, but it is worth it. :) The push in the right direction is this forum! Most of the questions you have will have been asked and answered right here. Happy building.

Thank You very much, once again still new at this so it will taken time for me to get the hang of things lol

Changes are coming to the tutorial section in the coming week. I'd like to stretch my legs in this new sub forum.

If you notice anything unusual, such as a thread that should not be in the tutorial section, rest assured it will be fixed shortly.

*UPDATE*

  • Edited order and structure of Tutorial Index to better suit the flow of building.

  • Added Table of Contents for ease of use.

  • Added tutorial titles to Table of Contents for tutorials that are needed.

Hey Duke, I d'nt know if it's a problem for others, but the last three out of four links you posted hyperlink to https://true rather than the actual link. I only checked one in the main post, but it had the same hyperlink as well. Copying the link text url into a new tab will go straight to the post still though.

Thank you Squishy! I'm not sure what happened, but I fixed it and will keep an eye on it.

Index has been updated to include:

Software (ArmorSmith Designer) - TurboCharizard

Index has been updated to include:

Fitting (Snaps) - he4thbar

While it is not a tutorial, I do believe it is very helpful in starting to sew to know the terms. I have added Ashuraa 's thread to the index:

Soft Parts (Sewing Terms) - Ashuraa

Updated, added:

Electronics (Speaker) - MoeSizzlac

Normally I would not include a non halo tutorial in the 405th index, but MoeSizzlac is a prolific contributor to the 405th community with his catalog of 3d printable armor files.
