UNSC Ironman?

First of all, this thread is a continuation of my first thread, named "Iron Man Card board Helmet"



This IS a Halo site, so I decide to make a Halo themed Ironman Helmet, and since it's my first project here in this site, I'll put a tiny little bit of Halo on it, what I plan to do is paint like an MC Helmet, put emblems, and symbols make the, eyes orange(like the Spartans' Visor) and some other stuff.....

If you think this idea is lame, you can tell me, but I'll still do it anyway mwahahaha.

I'll post pictures on my progress as soon as I can...... may take a day or two....

Feel free to share ideas on how i can make it more "HALO THEMED" before i actually get painting, besides i still need to fill in some gaps and finish up the added details of the Helmat.

Some suggestions for Halo theme in it:
Tubes at the sides (Like the MkVI) and maybe the Led light at the side.

Or do you want to give it a halo theme only by paint?

The tube Idea was nice, and the LEDs at the side is great but i cant get my hands on the materials...

not exactly only by paint, that was my first thought though, but ideas are welcome.

No More Ideas, i'll start doing it now, ill just make the theme by paint, and ill make the eyes Orange, like the visor..

it will take a few days to finish, less than 3 days. or two. I'll try to finish the main painting tomorrow....., and i have a solution on how I can put lights on the eyes, havnt tried it though (yet another inspiration from toys)....

i have an idea on how i was gonna do it on mine before i gave up, i would take lenses out of sunglasses and put em behind eye holes , then just add 2 blue leds under each eyehole, should work pretty well,

or orange leds or whatever

Thats a great idea, but i can't get my hands on any LEDs I can't get any from anywhere,

aah, well, i am at school and i do electronics , thats how i would get mine,
if you have the wires and everything else to do it i might be able to post them to you,

It's alright, ill salvage them from old flashlights

I have this LED flashlight, i might be able to extend the wiring so it can reach the eyes.. what do you think?

seems easily possible...im not too sure where to get yellow leds... unless ur gonna have a yellow filter over it...

Fiberglassed-too expensive, hotglued-dont like it anymore hehe

it's something different, I used superglue to almost every piece, making it stirdy and strong (the two individual peices), and ill use something like a flexible bondo, it should flex becuase of the moving parts, if i make it hard, the hinge wont work( there goes 3 hours of making it hehe)....

well on my assault rifle im going to attempt to mix glues together to make a resin based solution, to put on the outside, i dont worry about inside seeing as i use cardboard, making it sturdy enough, i got a tube of "pritt in a tube" that looks like semen and sticks terribly, and some tesco all use glue, which just takes ages and looks seethrough, im going to mix them and brush it on my rifle, to see how it ends up later on,

Wah, i just realised, if i took the Face piece out of the hinge, it can be replaced by a large spherical visor, like the Mk. VI EVA, I have an Idea.... 2 helmets in one!!! oh yea.... myt work on it after done with this one....

lol. you have quite alot of projects going on at once dont you, the pistol, this, assault rifle, now an eva helmet...

I know, haha, but this project and the EVA is basically the same, the Riffle wont be started yet though, ill keep updating.... like now hehe
