Total noob question. Anyone know where I can find different colored visors that are also tinted, or visors that can only be looked through one way?

Well are these tinted? And how would I put these in my halo 4 odst helmet?

They are well tinted, while outside It's like I'm wearing my sunglasses and unless there is a direct light and you are close enough (and even then its hard to see) you can't really see inside it. I just mounted mine in with tape after cutting to shape. For an ODST helmet, you may need to have a clear visor in place before you use the flex-able visor to help give it shape.

If anything, try searching etsy for a visor that would be tinted already. https://www.etsy.com/shop/WelshCreations?ref=l2-shopheader-name may be a good starting place.

Check out etsy! There are a number of good looking vacuum formed odst visors out there.

I agree. These may not be the best choice for an ODST helmet. Search Etsy for ODST specific visors, as they have that unique indentation.

The problem with ODST visors is that the unusual shape demands vacuum forming, but the process usually cracks tinting that's applied to the thermoform plastic material. I'll be experimenting with some ideas to mitigate that risk soon, even our colleagues on the PRF have had problems with the cracking.

I won't even go into the struggle that is preventing the lens from fogging, there's only so many fans you can stuff in there.

i attempted etsey but they only sell Reach odst visors. I am looking for a halo 4 odst visor.

Hmm, well I haven't searched for that visor in particular. It might come down to having to build a vacuum forming machine and creating one yourself if that visor isn't readily available.

Edit:
Not a premade visor, but about 2 minutes worth of Google searching and I was able to stumble across this tutorial thread that looks good and is very simple.
