Hey people, I started making my armor 3 days ago and I got the files from Frizzlefry's tutorial in the pepakura and cardboard armor section, but upon further examination using Vrogy's pep wikia page armor database in the same section, I don't think that the version I'm building is listed in the database!!

I'm kinda freaked out a bit because I have no idea what version of the mjolnir armor I downloaded from Frizzlefry's tutorial, could somebody help me clear this up?

You are probably using JediFraz's Halo 2 pep files. The ones in the wiki are Robogenesis' Halo 3 beta files. The Halo 2 ones are not as detailed as the beta files. There is also a High Detail public set in the works, (so far there are helmets, torso, forearms, "mid-definition" thighs, biceps, handplates, and boots) but I don't recommend them to beginners. I would start out with the beta models until you get the hang of it.

Thanks a bunch guys!! That certainly clears things up a great deal. But if you don't mind me asking, if you were me with no experience, would it be wise to build this version? Or would you want to go with the halo 3 version if you were me?

I started with the Halo 2 version, because at the time, that was all there was. I've also built most of the Halo 3 suit. I think you could go either way, the bottom half (crotch down) of each version is pretty similar, so if you start there and change your mind, you don't have to start all over again. (like I did)

I did this version too at first.

You could make it as a size tester. To test and pratice yourself for the High-Def. 'cause it's pretty hard.

Thanks for the help guys, I think I'm going to build this suit first just to see what I can do. If I want to build the halo 3 suit later I guess could do that also. But I really just want to do this for halloween and possibly some youtube videos, so I really don't care if it's the halo 2 or halo 3 version cause people will be able to recognize it regardless!! It's not like somebody's going to come up to you and say " Hey, how come you made the halo 2 suit instead of the halo 3 suit, it looks terrible!"

Haha yeah right
