what is up with the advertisements!?

So I've been seeing these advertisements for stuff not related to this site, and its kinda irritating. especially when they put it as a reply to one of your post. Now I'm still new to this site and don't know if that's just the way it is, but if not, I'm all for it stopping!

I believe that's a spam bot. Generally they get blocked fast.
